Very disappointed to say the least. Like most mechanics and auto electricians, it's hard to find a good honest company that does the right thing by its customers. I brought the car in with a faulty reverse camera only to be told it will cost me $400 to tell me it has a faulty reverse camera. In typical fashion, instead of actually testing for a signal at the camera, as a first port of call, every other item relating to the camera on the car was "tested". Only to conclude the camera is faulty. So $400 later we still have a faulty camera, and it's not fixed. So now I'll have to order a camera and get someone to install it, which is what should have happened right from the start...
You can con a non technical person, but unfortunately I have a computer engineer back ground... its easy to see when you're being taken for a ride..

I went in with a faulty starter motor and asked them to call me before incurring any costs - they called me and told me that I needed to spend $400 to fix the problem by fitting in a reconditioned starter motor, or approx $600 for a brand new one.

I had no idea about these costs, so I had a quick call around and found a $205 BRAND NEW fitted starter motor in Centre Rd, Springvale. I called them ...read more

I had similar experience, I should have looked up feedback reviews before going there, big mistake. I enquired about Holden Car Seat Belt Buckle cost & was asked to bring it in to have a look, so I leave my car, get a call for 2 option:- second hand part & labour $250 & new holden one for $440, I call company they say they can put the new one for $250 (includes part & labour). Usually we would think company service would be expensive then a small town shop, totally opposite here. A difference of $200 for the same job. I called him to tell that I wont be going ahead with the quotes. & he charges me $35 for his effort on calling couple of wreckers to get price on the part. No reference to it in the begining. dont think they get the same client back
