Mama Falafel

A good place to try, different type of burgers. Instead of a beef or chicken patty, how about a falafel. Great concept and all seem very healthy. They order is made fresh and you can see the staff preparing just behind the counter so you know exactly what has been done. All thought it took a fair bit to be served but the result is shown once the burgers were served. Looks great and couldn't wait to bite into it. With all the delicious flavours of the salad the sauce and the falafel itself made it taste just like a good home made burger. I don't eat falafel any where else in any other way so think this store sure has its unique style of burgers. Comes with chips or a side serve of salad. Also freshly squeeze juice bar to make it a healthy meal. I didn't purchase the juice but i was really full from the burger and chips.

I purchased a voucher recently and discovered this hamburger place. The girl serving was very friendly and said that we had 2 options with the voucher - either the chicken or falafel burger which came with chips. She mentioned that they were well known for their falafel burger, so we picked one of each. Waited about 10 minutes or so and then came these 2 large burgers on a wooden chopping board as a serving plate with the fried chips. It was one of the nicest burger Ive eaten a long time, the falafel burger was different in taste, I added the beetroot to it and it was simply superb! Incredibly filling, it was quite huge I didnt think I could have finished it, but given it was so nice wanted to make sure I didnt leave a single bit behind. The chips were just perfect, purchased the aioli sauce and it made it just perfect. I would definitely return and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to eat in South Yarra.
