Mamak

Used to love the roti here and it was all about the roti indeed, so yum. Heard there were issues with staff being hideously underpaid however so will be a bit hesitant to return if that is true

I really like the roti here, and have it marked down as my go-to place in the CBD for a Malaysian hawker food hit. Satay also good.

I love the roti at Mamak and could eat it every day. The food here is Malaysian and, so, is so full of subtle flavours you can't recreate it. My favourite is the Penang chicken but they only sell it at a few of their branches which is disappointing as it is amazing! Even their jasmin rice is so good, I would love to know their secrets. The restaurant is always packed out and you often have to queue a while to get a table but it's worth it so buckle in

Really great Malay but with all great restaurants comes great big lines out the door.
The Roti Bawang is so delicious and so is the Kari Sayur among most of the menus.
I guess you will have to try.

Great Malaysian food and value for money. Very popular as there's always a queue.
