Mamma's Italian Restaurant

Visiting Brisbane for a few days and wanted a lovely night out with family. Luxuriant venue, interesting menu, nice wines, good and friendly service, not too noisy for mum's hearing aids and not so quiet we would wonder if we were the only ones out and about. Mammas did not disappoint. We started with cocktails and shared garlic bread. For mains, one had pizza and declared it the best ever and ate more in one sitting than he has managed for months. The chicken scallopine was tender and tasty and we didn't need dessert but couldn't resist sharing tiramisu and pannacotta. Definitely a great place for eating out.

Terrible service was terrible and when the main course came out was supposed to be lasagne it was all cheese no meat was awful , and when i sooke to the manager he did not care didn't apologize just said ih that is the what the duah is ,and its very popular, Rustic olive in Redcliffe knocks the spots off of here, no wonder therenis hever anyone hardly in there..even charged us terrible never go back there

We've eaten here a few times over the past year and the service has always been great. Their food is fantastic and being an Italian food lover, it's one of my hubby's favourite restaurants on the peninsula.

The food was good but the service was the worst I've ever had. They didn't bring our starter or the pizza till we had already left the table to pay the bill after an hour of waiting for 3 pasta's. It wasn't even that busy. Wont be returning even though they gave us free drinks and free pizza for their stuff ups.

Very polite and efficient service. Food was soooo good!
