Manchuria
Manchuria is hidden away in Chinatown and brings to life the adventures of Tin-tin in the north-east of China and Manchuria in search of Opium dealers. Complete with bead curtains, bamboos, quaint lighting and decor, Manchuria draws in a cool crowd. A great range of cocktails, beverages and Asian style light meals available from the bar.

Manchuria has a sophisticated and moody ambient. It's definitely one of Melbourne's hidden gem for an impressive menu of cocktails, with Asian-themed decor. They have different sizes of vintage sofas perfect for different groups. The DJ/music was awesome with some old school RnB! Staff was friendly and seemed happy to be there!
This is a classic hidden bar in Melbourne. It's been around for many years but still so good. It is 1920s oriental China themed and very ambient and elegant. The cocktail menu is extremely impressive and definitely well worth a try. There are booths of different sizes depending on the number of people you are with. The staff are friendly and have really good attitude and seem to enjoy what they do.
They have since renovated this hidden bar with a balcony now which is great for smokers. Other than that, this is still one of my favourite bars in Melbourne. The fact that it's hidden makes it feel exclusive and attracts only a certain crowd. The music could be a bit loud at times, otherwise, strongly recommended.
I love this bar. It's hidden and it's definitely one of my favourites. Great place to take out people not from Melbourne. The decor is fabulous. Very small, which is great, adds the the exclusiveness. Pricing is a bit higher than standard, but still worth it. Service is great and staff are well dressed. Plenty of cocktails to choose from.
This bar is highly recommended for the decor alone. The luxurious wall fabrics and intimate and individually unique booths make the visit a visual treat. The bar staff are attentive and well-dressed, and they serve up some lovely cocktails that have an overall asian theme.
