Remove old mastic and grout from problem areas and replace with epoxy resin to create a new seal that is water proof. This is a very common problem in shower areas that can be repaired using epoxy resin that will last and last. The resin will flow into the void left when the shower was installed creating a new impervious seal that does not break down the way mastic does and will not discolour or allow mould spores to grow. The resins can be coloured to match any existing grout. The seals can be used in any area where mastic or grout has been or would be used, to make a joint that will NOT shrink crack or break down.
