Manhattan Dry Cleaners

I dropped off my wedding dress over at this shop for dry cleaning the day after my wedding with the guy serving me ensuring he could get it clean especially after I queried the hefty price for cleaning and preserving. As it says on their website, "Your special garments will be painstakingly cared for and delicately handled by experts." This is the service expected and is far from what was received. They phoned my husband telling him the dress is ready for pick up about 18 days after drop off. They did not open the box the dress was preserved in to show him the final result, but rather charged him for the dress and released it to him. Of course when I opened the box and saw that my expensive dress was at best HALF cleaned and still grey, I was furious. We are very happy with the results in the cleaning of our curtains.
Excellent service for 3 sets of drapes. They even steam it out any creases after rehanging.
They look as good as new.

Took my coat in for a dry clean. Was asked by the lady if this was a real Armani. I replied yes it's Armani Exchange. She asked me are you sure. To my reply I said yes I bought it at the Armani Exchange store. I thought she may have been verifying materials.

Forward a few days for pick up and they advised me they had an issue with the trim as it was supposed to be leather but wasn't. They've damaged the coat but instead of apologising and rectifying the issue they then asked AGAIN if it was a real Armani. The reason they asked is that the tags had Chinese writing on it. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

I was quoted $60 charged $108, for TWO (day wear) DRESSES! they came back with white stains, repair job was poor and parts of the dress are missing! called to rectify the situation with staff (no apology) and was told told to call another time as they cannot do anything despite my damaged garments. I waited a over a week to get them serviced and was charged the average cost of a day dress. absolutely horrendous.

I had my dress dry cleaned and my mother in laws zipper on her pants replaced... I was quoted 38.40 for the total bill and have a receipt for it and when I went to pick it up I was charged 68.40 when I was clearly on my receipt that I had to pay 38.40... Now I was abused and told I was in the wrong by three different people saying it was 30 for a zipper!.. And it's clearly their mistake but made feel like I was the fool and was so rude I have never experienced that in my 15 years of customer service... Especially from one particular employee who repeatedly came out to threaten me " just rip the zipper off!""... Also I am a hairdresser in the city and was told... Well you know what you charge for haircuts it's expensive" when you see the recipes it's clearly their screw up!! I got no apology and they were taking my belongings or I pay up!
