I arrived back after eating out at 9:40pm on 29th Sep 2011 , and had to ring to be let in. I had to follow another car through the security gate and someone through into the foyer.. I asked for another key (electronic) and they said "No not tonight you cant"... i said I needed to get in and out to the car.. I got another room key. .. so there you go.. an expensive hotel, whose desk closes at 7pm, and you will have to be convincing if you lose your key... summary: In my opinion The price of a good hotel with far worse service than the YHA.
We recently stayed at the Manly Marina Cove for our Wedding. We had numerous rooms booked with interstate and local guests. We were extremely disappointed with the total lack of customer service and complete mess of the booking system that everyone of our guests had some form of issue with there check in. We had pre booked months in advance for our room and upon arrival discovered that it had been set up as two single beds. I had explained to the manager that we had booked this room for our wedding night and that it wasn't possible we would of asked for two single beds. I didn't feel like i was being heard and that they kept telling me that is what the booking sheet says!! The problem was fixed the following day but then discovered only one towel was in our room along with a pair of socks that didn't belong to us!!
