We are new in the area and even though having appointments at 11.40am and back to back another appointment at 12pm but still had to wait nearly an hour until my health couldn’t bear to stay any longer. We finally gave up and went to other clinic. Terrible and unprofessional service. I’d give 0 star if I could.
3 years ago we had a terrible experience with the receptionist Julie . We decided to go to another clinic. Unfortunately it does not provide shared care service so we returned to Manor lakes clinic. Doctors are good but the receptionist Julie is rude and inappropriate. My 19month old was playing with another child and she yelled out saying stop your kids from screaming. She said there are signages everywhere which states children need to sit still. There weren't any and I did point that out and said I'd be very disturbed if they were indeed up. I asked staff for practice manager's details. I'd like to know what they will do differently and address this issue. If I do not get a reasonable response I will escalate.
I'm new to this area. I had an accident and needed to see a doctor, we had to wait for more than 2 hours to see a doctor, on top of that the staff were not helpful and were very rude. Will never return to this place again. I'm happy to still make an hour trip back to my old GP than to endure the horrible service of this mad house. It does not deserveto be called a medical centre.
This place was AWFUL. I had to wait 40 minutes past my appointment time, watching several people who arrived and booked in after me be called before me. When I asked how much longer it was going to take, I was told that coincidentally, I was next. Meanwhile, one of the reception staff was engaged in LOUD conversation with the other one, and started yelling in excitement. Everyone in the waiting room turned to look at the staff, thinking there might be something wrong, but no, staff was just gossiping away, oblivious.
The whole time I was at Manor Lakes Medical Centre was awful. Noisy, disorganised, and unprofessional- you can bet I'm never going there again.
Omg. We got into the same situation as yours 4 years ago. Exactly same thing. Wish that we knew this earlier, so that no time wasting to go through such torturing service.
