Mantra Mooloolaba Beach

After a very slow check in I went up to my room which was fabulous. It was gorgeous and spacious. Cute outdoor area and very peaceful. Great tea and coffee selection. Very happy with this hotel. I have recommended to all my friends. Only issues were the aircon was a bit too cold in reception and the ginger/Lemon signature scent in the lobby was I bit overbearing.

I had a reservation paid in full for the 6/4/13 at Mooloolaba beach. I made this booking over the phone as I have been on the move a lot away from my home PC where my email is. Your phone staff didn't explain on the phone to me about the $200.00 room deposit that is to be paid on arrival. Obviously this was a shock when checking in. Your staff where un reasonable and wouldn't let my into my room at all. I asked if an imprint of my card would be ok but was told no. I asked if my father could pay over the phone with his card and was told no. I asked to rebook and was told No I also asked for refund and was told No. I paid $340.00 for a room that I didn't stay in because of a security deposit that I was completely unaware of, I rang to book in person as I'm uncomfortable with internet purchases and appreciate customer service over the phone.
