After my second stay I still think this is a great hotel! The rooms are clean and contain everything you need, less a mini bar. The outlook over the pool is so relaxing. I had problems with my TV and late on a Sunday night, a member of staff arrived within 5 minutes. Check in wasn't overly friendly however she offered a colouring pack to my little one.
Mantra is a really big holiday resort. There's a beautiful big lagoon pool with bar service, gotta love that! There's also a smaller pool and spa near the tennis courts. (The small area between the pool & spa gets pretty muddy with people & kids getting in & out all the time) Mantra is a very short walk to the beach, just be careful of the strong rips in this area!
Some units are rented out by real estate, others by Mantra/website directly. There's units with just beds & a bathroom, and other units with beds, bathroom & small kitchen. Some of these are adjoined by the one entrance if you need a place for extra people. Nice neat units, great location!
I wish we had been told there was a conference there. Limited access to pools, restaurant and bar and limited sleep. The staff weren't anything above and beyond which was surprising for a hotel such as this. Note that it is not waterfront either. No spa in the big pool area, only the little (away from teh bar which was weird?)
