Mantra Tullamarine Hotel

The Mantra Tullamarine is a large hotel specifically built to accommodate overnight guests wanting to be close to the airport as there is absolutely nothing to do nearby. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to and from Tullamarine airport. The room was clean, large and spacious, basically furnished for a short length stay. The bed was comfortable enough, tv, air conditioner, tea & coffee facilities and the room basics, everything worked, ample lighting. No in room safe. The bathroom was a good size and very clean, my room had a shower but no bath tub, but I believe they do have rooms with bath tubs. There is no free WIFI. There is a gym and a vending machine in the basement available if you wanted to by crisps or a cold drink. I had the room service and the burger was fine, but you had to wait quite a long time to get your meal delivered. Good for an overnight stay if you would like to be close to the airport.

Not very happy this time around, last time the pool was closed and this time the movies were not working, the person said they would do everything to fix it but nothing ever ended up happening, we never heard from them again and the reception didn't even apologise for it in the morning. Breakfast buffet is delicious.
