One of the reasons behind people's passion to make a long queue everyday is its remarkably affordable price to eat udon and soba! Full selection of toppings, such as huge shredded vegetable and shrimp tempura, is another reason for its popularity. "Mappen" means "one more time" in Japanese Nagoya-dialect - it is so tasty and fun that if you dine here once, you'll be back for more!

This is my go to Japanese lunch place when I'm in the area. I love the fast service, cheap and delicious meals. My favourite is a bowl of Japanese curry, I usually only need the small for $5! Lunch served. Plenty of other options including udon, miso bowls and ontama is always a winner (half boiled egg). Remember to bring cash though they don't take cards.
