Marcellina Pizza Bar & Restaurant

Marcellina's Pizza is a Hindley Street institution and has recently had a facelift which makes it look a lot more inviting. We had dinner and even though the staff member serving us was on her first shift she did a really good job considering and was very friendly. The pizzas were all good but I think the Adonis was the stand out. The salt and pepper squid kept my niece happy.

Sorry, but you cannot charge premium prices, deliver lukewarm pizza, forget part of the order, be over 40 minutes late against your stated delivery time, fail to acknowledge your mistakes, or even have the decency to offer some form of discount and then expect repeat business, it wont happen you bunch of arrogant . . . . . . . .!

We are local residents so had previously dined in and ordered take away from this restaurant/caf quite a few times, but they have just lost our business forever!

From their point of view, the best excuse they could offer was they are extremely busy, as if that makes it alright!

Waited 1 and a half hours for delivery, garlic bread was squashed flat and cold, pizza was cold and we ordered double prawns and there were hardly any, yet we paid for them. Very disappointing.

you can get cheaper pizzas but you know that they aren't marcellina's. Nothing better than a late night marcellina's just before jumping in a cab and heading home. The staff are always good for a laugh.

Not the cheapest pizzas around but one of the very best. The pizzas do not skimp on the toppings and the oven baked delights simply make your mouth water. Service and atmosphere are quite good and this is recommended if you prefer pizzas that are not from large chains.
