We went for the first time - in the first week of its reopening (on a Saturday evening) and were really pleasantly surprised.
The front belies an interior that whilst not plush, was far better decorated than other restaurants in town. Whilst we were not crowded (as a number of tables around us were at first not occupied), I would have felt slightly cramped if all the tables would have been occupied.

I found Marco Polo restaurant certainly lived up to its star rating. The service, ambience, decor, menu, wines etc were all of what I expected this fine establishment to embelish and more!
The pricing of course of five star prices but are worth every penny.
My husband and I have been twice now and consistency is to the 'T'.
My husbands birthday is coming up soon so we shall be making another reservation soon as we love it there so much we don't want to risk going somwhere else in fear that it is nothing to comparence !!
