Not the most glamorous place to stay and this once old sailors home certainly has a nursing home feel to it. The lifts remind you of going to the hospital and the call buttons in the rooms reinforces it. The two hour timer on the air-conditioning was a first for me and make sure that you arrive early or the reception/security staff will give you a lecture on time management and personal ethics.
With basic facilities and limited help you are on your own after 18:00.If all you are looking for is a place to sleep it will suffice. Not really the place I would take my partner for a weekend in Sydney.
It is a little tricky to find but if you know your way around Sydney youll be fine.
Personally I would not go there again.
