Marion Hotel

Okay, this may be a fairly standard pub, but there is one thing about this place that I will always remember. A friend of mine wanted to have a beer with me one day and we randomly picked this pub, and upon walking in we discovered Mark Riccutio, captain of the Adelaide Crows, standing behind the bar giving away free beer. Hey, we may have supported the other team be we were not going to turn down a free beer. However other than that, as I mentioned, there is not really all that much else that stands out about this place, other than the couple of nice beer gardens that they have adjoining the place, and quite a lot of pokie machines (as well as the ubiquitous sports bar). Oh, I also believe that have live bands, but I'm hardly going to come all the way down here for a live band (especially since I live in Melbourne).

Simply the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. I can't begin to tell you how miserable it has been stayihg up listening to their LOUD music while we should be sleeping so we can get up early to go to the airport. Tell everyone you know that they would be better sleeping in their car than at this sorry excuse for a hotel. They told us we have to suck it up until 12:30 AM tonight even though we have to be at the airport just hours later. I promise you that if you come here seeking sleep, you will end up sitting up all night listening to really loud really bad music.

over priced food for whats actually served. The quality isnt that great, and the customer service needs to be reviewed.

Wish i could say more. but if you want a typical pub meal out for a schnitzel then this would be all its good for....

Family dinner for Christmas 2012, terrible service, horrible food, very ordinary, the prices certainly are not ordinary, not worth eating at. As for the drinks, seem they do not know the difference between lemonade and water from the tap.
