Mario's Cafe

Looking at the previous reviews, they must of picked up their game because the service was fine when I went here. I had a hot chocolate while my partner had a flat white, the hot chocolate was very bland and could definitely do with more flavor. My partner mentioned her flat white was nice, but a bit creamy which is unusual for a flat white, but still very nice.

We were warned before we arrived that there would be no skinny milk, which is fine, one full fat coffee every now and again never killed anyone. The coffee was good. The bruschetta and paninis that we ordered were tasty and our friends "mix and match" breakfast request was accomomdated. Love the jar of vegemite that arrived at the table! Staff were friendly.

If I could not include a star at all I would do so! They were extremely rude, obnoxious and has no customer service. They assumed that I was not having lunch and proceeded to make a rude joke about having my lunch at the office rather than being in their cafe/restaurant. I had 2 meetings scheduled in which I had one and the other unfortunately cancelled in which I would have bought something to eat with my next meeting. I have eaten in there many times and they have served me and people I have been with more than once. It's not the way to treat customers or people and certainly they should been more polite rather than assuming. I will definitely not be going back. They were extremely rude and have lost touch with customer service. If you want to have any meetings or meet people, it's best not to go in there because you may be rudely spoken to by them.

Terrible service... the waiter was impatient and simply walked off on us - so my partner did not get a minute to order.
The garlic bread was microwaved as it was chewy and soft and my lasagna was not very fresh tasting either.

Insulted by the waiter for being vegan he described me as "one of those weird folk". All in all some of the rudest service I have ever received! Can't say I will be rushing back there - food nothing to write home about either.
