Market City

Market CIty has a nice range of shops and now has a new food court. There's a big yum cha place upstairs called the eight as well. It's not bad for an Asian Grocer as well

Market City is a shopping destination situated in Haymarket, above Paddy's Markets. With over 30 retail outlets, it offers a great shopping experience. Market City has recently announced the opening of their new level 1 food court, to cater to hungry shoppers and visitors looking for a tasty bite to eat.

We attended the opening ceremony, which included a traditional Chinese Lion Dance performed by (Sydney's dragon and lion dance association). This in itself was very impressive. Located close to central station - its great to have outlets right in the heart of Sydney City.

My favourite outlet is Review, who always have a sale of some sort.

The Lonsdale outlet is quite good too!

A great mall above Paddy's Markets in Chinatown.

They have a wide selection of retailers from beauty & nail salons, restaurants, grocery stores, fashion stores and more.

It even has a video game arcade there as well.

If you're in the CBD it's well worth a visit.

This is a shopping complex you dont realize exists even if you have walked past many many times! Being above Paddies Markets you dont ever think about whats upstairs! It is a really great centre with a great range of outlet stores. It can take some looking but there are lots of bargains. Decent Asian-style food court.
