I am a 36yo woman and was referred to Dr Markov after experiencing constant pain and inflammation in my joints for over a year. I also completed some blood tests which indicated high inflammatory markers and a positive ANA (Autoimmune indicator) reading, therefore my GP believed I should be reviewed by a Rheumatologist. After Dr Markov completed his examination, he informed me that I did not have Arthritis however was not able to diagnose my condition. When I asked him if my pain and inflammation might be contributed to poor diet that causes an inflammatory response, Dr Markov’s response was rude and dismissive. Dr Markov appeared annoyed that I had been referred to him and offered little sympathy to my condition nor to the fact that he was unable to give me a diagnosis, I then had to pay $270 for the appointment. ...read more
