Great place, was very busy when we were dining, friendly staff and good food.

Great place for an after-work drink and I particularly like that it's "off the beaten track", so the crowd is a bit nicer than the main drag nearby. There are a few spaces to settle and the staff are wonderful, highly recommend this place. #reviewtowin

I have been to Markov Place a couple of times. The first time, it was fabulous. The second time, it was good (but not as good as the first time). The menu is based on share dishes. The flavours are complex, and well balanced. The kitchen seemed to be having an off night on our second visit, since there were errors in plating (eg, key elements missing). That said, the food was still tasty, even when flawed. The atmosphere is cosy, and the staff are friendly and professional.



Markov Place would be excellent for vegetarians - there are a lot of meat-free options on the menu. The dessert tasting plate was the highlight on my first visit, and lowlight on my second visit - but I would still recommend it.

I was a little disappointed when I dined at Markov Place, the food was not as good as I had been told it was. The service was wonderful, however, and the prices very reasonable. I did enjoy my dessert and coffee more than the main meal.
