Counselling and psychotherapeutic work will look at presenting problems in a wider context, to help understand and release emotional patterns and to find ways to increase self-esteem, motivation and self-mastery skills. The methods used in this process are eclectic, catering for the client's personal needs and preferences.

Based on a thorough assessment of the client?s situation and individual needs, a comprehensive action and treatment plan is designed to instill hope and facilitate change. Marlies focuses on helping the clients identify their strengths and resources. Her caring and uncompromisingly positive attitude provides a safe space to discuss and process personal issues.
