Marrickville Metro Medical Centre

I have had tonsilitis previously and it was bacterial. Upon getting another bout so painful I was awake half the night I needed to see the GP. I couldn't find anywhere with an appointment including my normal GP. I went to marrickville metro GP. I was told it was an hour wait, 3 hours later I was seen. The DR did not introduce himself. He asked me some dumb questions about my occupation and then what brought me to the practice. He Had one look in my mouth for bout 2 seconds and claimed there was
"slight redness", however my husband was in with me and we both send there is pus, significant swelling and my glands were very swollen, my husband looked in with the gp again and the gp still sid there was nothing. Terrible medical centre!

After recently moving to the area I was in need of a new GP and the renewal of a simple script. After being ignored by reception I took the imitative to complete the new patient form at the desk - this allowed other other patients to be addressed by the receptionist and added to the queue. After waiting over an hour when my name was finally called the GP said nothing to me but readdressed the receptionist for forgetting to put something in my file while I stood in the hallway. ...read more
