Aviod this company if at all possible. I joined a new strata with M&B and have had such a terrible experience and now with the whole committee and owners group in agreement, still in a fight trying to get rid of them as they refuse to pass our account to a new managment company. They have a terrible reputaion with everyone I've spoken with. Apparently since PICA group accuired them they have really lost the plot.
The water is currently off at the property we are renting and has been for some hours. We called Mason and Brophy at 4:50PM and a woman called Libby answered the phone. She was about to transfer us to the property manager, but then asked if we were renting. Upon replying yes, my husband was then treated to Libby’s acidic tongue, and at 4:52PM, was ordered to call our agent. Mason and Brophy’s website indicates they have service level agreements and a ‘personal’ and ‘professional touch’. Despite sharing with Libby we have a newborn baby needing to be fed, and that it would take til past 5PM For our agent to only do what we were currently doing, she continued to be utterly dismissive, and put down the phone. As an owner of multiple investment properties, I would be appalled to use Mason and Brophy as my strata management company. Not even worth 1 star in a 100, let alone out of 5.
I cant tell you how disappointing the services, or rather the lack of them has been. we have asked them repeatedly to attend to a range of matters over the past 2 years. Rarely do they respond, and if so it is irrelevant.
Even where serious safety issues are concerned. They seem to be quite happy to just take the money we pay them- for nothing in return.
I've just phoned for the 7th time & left a message. Nobody is ever available to take the call, and nobody ever bothers to phone back.
Have you dealt with Mason and Brophy. They have threatened me and my agents with "defamation" for simply raising a complaint. I would rate them 0/5, if this star system allowed it.

I'm not sure what we pay for, as there is no management of anything and it's left to the strata committee to follow up every action item. They pay our bills on time but the level of service stops there.
I couldn't not agree more with you! You are lucky they pay your bills on time. A very unprofessional outfit.
