If I had read these reviews before I bought the voucher I wouldn't have bought it, but thank god I didn't. This place was lovely. The staff were friendly and the massage was firm and great! You could hear when people on the street beeped their horns but it's inner city so you can't expect not to, it's quiet enough to be pleasant. Sure this place isn't super fancy but it's so cheap, you can't have ridiculous expectations.
I'm not usually one for leaving reviews but felt I had to share our recent experience with Massage House. Firstly, we booked about three or four weeks in advance of the appointment (this was the first available weekend) and about 15 minutes after booking we realised we couldn't make it and would have to change to the following week. I called back and changed the appointment to the following week. On the day of the original appointment, we received a phone call asking us why we had not shown up. I explained that we had moved the appointment to the following week to which they had no record of. They were able to fit us in two weeks later (six weeks after I had originally booked). Secondly, my partner and I had a massage there yesterday and while he was fairly happy with his experience, the young 'masseuse' I had, was obviously unqualified and did not nearly deliver all the purchased components of our two hour pamper package. I often check reviews about places before I go.. Especially before buying online deals, going to new restaurants or booking accommodation. I read a lot of bad reviews, but people don't often take the time to post when they've had a good experience.. so i just had to mention how great my masseur was this evening at Massage House. The manager was very pleasant on arrival & masseur Joanna couldn't have looked after me better. I will definitely return for future services as I am quite fussy & when you find someone who is great at what they do you got to stick with them.
