A couple of months ago Maestro Joe backed into my parked car with his large work utility at the Parklands shopping centre. I was sitting in my car at the time when it happend. We exchanged details and Joe said he was happy to pay me cash. I got a quote and gave it to him, but that was not good enough. He then asked to get 2 more quotes in my own time using my own petrol. Joe finally accepted a quote and then paid so I could make a booking, which then took another 6 weeks until repaired. We were going to be without a second car for about 4 days possibly longer. As my wife and I both need a care for work reasons, I asked Joe to please cover the cost for a hire car, which to this day he has not attended to, despite asking. I went along with all of Joe's requests. Had I chosen to go with the insurance, we would have had a free replacement car, could have had the repairs done very close to where we live.
