I agree whole heartedly Mr Nani... Your comments are precise and to the point... The service I received there from them was down grading and abysmal by any standards.
For what they charge you would expect a lot more variety on the menu and also comfort whilst dining and enjoying the fine views of our swan river.
Personally, I will not be gong back there again and while be heading back to South Perth for a coffee and breakfast during my weekend cycle.
Poor service and pricing.
This particular cafe is everything that gets me upset about Perth.
The service was ordinary.......mate if you don't actually like serving people why are you working in hospitality?
The prices were extreme! (to be polite about it) I think the old plastic chairs must have been 10 years old! I've had better toasted sandwiches from my local lunch bar at a quarter the price. Oh and 15% surcharge for public holidays? Disgraceful!!! Avoid this, especially if you are from another state / country there are much, much better places in Perth.
Agree with you 100%... I too went there over the new years break and was treated with contempt and smug arrogance from the staff.
$6 dollars for two slices of toast is a bit steep, along with the tone and demeanour I received when I asked if I could have a specific baguette made up as I have allergies which would react if I ate the pre-made ones.
The scenery is beautiful but if your going to charge your customers, at least have suitable chair.
