Matsuzaka Japanese Restaurant

Very disappointed as first visit was ok but this time we were served seafood that was off!! We were asked to pay for it and agreed to discount the rotten dish for 50%!! Very as we liked it the first time. Will not be going back

One of the first things that I have noticed about Matsuzaka is that they are all over the place with what they are trying to do. They have a teppanyaki, a tatami room, a tiny sushi bar and a general dining area. For me, it only shows that they do not specialize in anything and they don't have focus. As I have a particular interest in a-la carte sushi, I decided to check the sushi bar.

Their sushi bar is very small and is located under the stair case where it can be clearly seen the messy working chef area. Food good, Excellent sushi, nice and fresh - service pretty average though, although we were there on a very busy night and didn't book.
