Mawson Lakes Newsagency

I had a horrible experience at this Newsagency today, I was looking and taking a image of a Valentines card to send to my sister to make a decision on what card she would like me to buy for her. The Chinese old man came out from the back and approached me very rudely by saying 'don't take photos here'. I put the card back and and told him how rude it was of the way he approached me and told him I will no longer be coming to his store to purchase anything. He replied by telling me that he doesn't need my service or any other customers like me.
I was then told to get out of the store only because I was looking to purchase a Valentines card.. there loss, not mine or any other customer..
There has been way too many complaints of bad customer service from this news agency in Mawson Lakes, I think it's about time they did something about it..

I had horrible experience today with this shop today. My little girl was very interested in one of the books at the front of the shop, so she had a look at the book for a few minutes. Suddenly, the guy came out and told us" Are you going to buy this book? If not, do not read, this is not a library. If you want to read a book, go to library!!!" I was totally shocked and speechless. I ended of purchasing the book which we orginally planned to. However, we will not go back the shop again. No respect to customers at all!

Without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Not great service. Went there the other day and they struggled to smile, were brisk to the point of rudeness, cramped aisles and products squeezed in everywhere so you can barely find anything. One staff isn't interested in helping, they just want to serve you at the counter and move you out the store.



I'd rather drive 5 km to the nearest store where I might see a friendly face. Moved to Mawson Lakes for the community spirit. This falls short.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I have visited this store many times (mainly because there is no other options in ML) and not once have I been greeted by a friendly face. The people behind the counter really lack customer service skills.. They never greet you so forget squeezing a smile out of their faces. The store is well-stocked but the shopping experience the store offers is very unpleasant... it's all business and no interaction. I now try to do all my newsagency shopping when I visit the city over the weekends unless absolutely necessary.
