Max Brenner is known for its chocolate but the coffee is also good. My recommendation is to order the coffee strong - it has a nice character which cuts through the milk. But if you are in the mood for a bit of chocolate, I recommend the dark mocha. It's expensive, but delicious.
Great Waffles, the Best. I have been approx 8-10 times cause I love the waffles but the lack of friendliness and appreciation to have a job from the staff makes it hard. Their boss needs to hire people who are happy to SERVE other people - its called customer SERVICE for a reason, it requires SERVICE!!!! BIG SHAME
Melnick, I've had a similar experience - especially one staff who is not a morning person. However, recently, there seems to be some more friendly staff. Maybe they heard your cry for more smiles from MB staff!
