Max Brenner at the University of New South Wales might not be the first thing that comes into mind when thinking of a late evening place for dessert, but it is certainly a candidate. Even at 10:30pm the place was still relatively busy and the staffs were still very occupied.
There were cases of mixed order with other tables even though our numbers were clearly displayed on the table, but overall they were relatively attentive, quick and courteous (not disregarding the fact that we stayed until closing time).
The food and beverages at Max Brenner were still good but they seem to be less impressive each time we revisit, and the now-high price points are not helping either considering there are other new and exciting cafes springing about.
The parking at this time of night is relatively easy: you can either park along High St or enter the university gate for more free and available parking spots.
Max Brenner has just gotten even closer to satisfying the cravings of the UNSW students. Situated within the UNSW Kensington campus, this newly opened Max Brenner has all the signature decoration, atmosphere, and delicious food and drink offerings (one of which I have just grown fond of: the chocolate brownies!)
