Horrified at the extortion forced upon us to order food and beverages at the same time , not allowed to just order drinks and browse the menu , also couldn’t order coffees , was made to feel like we had to order alcohol because it was the most expensive! This I can guarantee was purely put in place because the blues festival was on and they are trying to make more money . Needless to say all 6 of us walked out . Money lost Max !
The worst dining experience we’ve had on the GC. All 3 staff especially the owner were so rude, arrogant with bad attitudes. Tried to offer some constructive feedback to be told by the waitress “well I didn’t cook it”! The white waitress was constantly publically attacking the Kiwi waitress. Our entrees were terrible, couldn’t even eat them, mains were just ok. Overall service & staff were a real let down. Dont waste your money & valuable family time here!
The worst experience I've ever had in Broardbeach. Seafood chowder that was more like watery slop and tough thongs. Owner was rude and so was waiting staff, I'd recommend to stay away as there is so many nice places to eat in Broardbeach, don't make the same mistake I did.
The meals were good value and well presented, but where we were first seated it was located directly under a heater that was up too high. When suggested that the heater was too high. The waitress advised she could not turn it off unless the people at the next table agreed. I requested if we could be sat at another table and the response was there was none available, even though the restaurant was only about one third full with a number of empty tables nearby. Since the heat was annoying us I advised that we will just pay for our drinks and leave. The waitress came back and advised that another table was found, this time in a restricted space next to a large table of people celebrating something. We could hardly hear each other talk, but heard every detail of gossip from the other table. The meals were good, but we were keen to leave.
