Don't even deserve 1 star but unfortunately 0 is not an option. I wish i had known the 2 year ordeal that lay ahead of me before leaving my car to be fixed with Max Butts. A novel could be written on the disaster of Max Butts. Took 3 MONTHS to get "fixed" after numerous problems (mainly to incompetence) and after getting my car back i noticed there was clearly still a problem with the car. I took it to the dealer service centre to get an independent opinion and discovered the brakes had not been replaced or fixed at all, because you know brakes really aren't that important on a car are they?? Had no choice but to return the car to Max Butts because the insurance company said they had to have the opportunity to repair it properly. Took another MONTH. Not very comforting when the receptionist calls it a "comedy of errors" when you go to pick up your car for the second time and after numerous errors yet again. IF THERE WAS LESS THAN HALF A STAR, THAT WOULD BE THE RATING I WOULD GIVE MAXBUTTS. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - THEY CONSTANTLY OVER-PROMISE AND UNDER DELIVER. I AM YET TO SEE MY CAR AND DETERMINE THE QUALITY BUT IT BETTER BE GOOD CONSIDERING I WAS INITIALLY TOLD IT WOULD BE FINISHED WITHIN 10 DAYS AND AM STILL WAITING 22 DAYS LATER. YES THEY WERE WAITING ON PARTS - I UNDERSTAND AND I AM NOT AN IDIOT - HOWEVER AFTER AT LEAST 17 PHONE CALLS AND AN IMPENDING DEADLINE, THEY ARE STILL FAILING TO SPRAY PAINT AND CURE MY CAR. SERIOUSLY ATROCIOUS. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!
Thank you for your comments but as you have been to us before & was very satisfied with your vehicle I find it hard to accept your comments .The experience over the last month to 6 weeks for us has been horrendous as we had a spray booth catch fire & burn down leaving us with one spray oven & staff splitting shifts 24 hrs a day ,as stated parts were very difficult to obtain & unfortunately held up the repairs to your vehicle , communication was of a high standard but difficult under the circumstances .We value our clients & endeavour to perform to a high standard consistently but unfortunately circumstances prevail that prevent this at times .we have not heard back from you so presume the repairs were of a high standard Jeff Nugent
