Warning... Do not have your function at ! My sister had her 21st recently and speaking from experience, do not have your function here. We asked the management a number of times to turn the lights down and turn the music up to create a better atmosphere, but were rudely told this is their bar and makes the decisions. We paid over $600 for the catering, yet I saw no more than 4 plates of food come out of the kitchen. When asked about it, the management stated that did not make any money on the catering and that was how much it cost. My sister was yelled at on the dance floor. Stated made only $820 for the whole night, yet I managed to spend over $200 alone and we had over 60 people there for most of the night. We we're kicked out at 12.30 due to having less than 80 people, even though we had the facility booked until 2am. Rude and extremely unhelpful with the whole process. The only positive is the bar staff are lovely.
I recently had a birthday function at Maxim's. The owner was lovely to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. The finger food was popular and the pricing for the whole function was very reasonable.
The venue was perfect for our small function.
We were even allowed to BYO a special cider and pay corkage without any arguments. Overall we had a fantastic memorable evening thank you.
