Max's at Red Hill Estate

Max's restaurant (located here at Red Hill Estate) is brilliant. Overlooking the vineyards down to the sea, the wines and food are just incredible. Personable and attentive staff, extensive menu with loads of cheeses and local produce. Wonderful with open fires in winter and tables outside in Summer. They sell books and local produce as well. They have a cellar door here, where they sell there wines. I would suggest you stay away from those AFTER you have had your lunch and do it BEFORE you've had too many of their wonderful wines! Seriously though it's a great restaurant and mornington peninsula experience. 1.5 hours from Melbourne CBD.
