The Maynestay Motel has 10 large luxury suites with Queen size beds including two spa units. The motel is situated only a short walk to clubs, restaurants and the town centre. Rooms are non smoking and have split cycle air-conditioning. Breakfast and evening meals are available seven days a week.Wedding packages are also available.

I have stayed at this establishment regularly over the past 6 months. On the last and yes LAST occasion, I was late and when I was called at about 8.30 pm I said that I was still two hours away.
This was not satisfactory for management and I could hear rude remarks in the background. By this stage I realized that the management was getting really rude and they wanted my credit card number. I said no I will give it to them when I check out in the morning.
I did not need to be spoken to like this and hence, I made alternative arrangements for accommodation that night.
It appears from the review below that this is not an isolated incident. I will not be back!
I was in Gunnedah, for the first time, this past weekend to attend a friends wedding and unfortunately stayed at the Maynestay Motel on Conadilly Street.
Sunday morning, while my fianc left the motel to pick up our car from the wedding venue, the management of the establishment came into our room and verbally attacked me. It was 10:30am and checkout, unbeknownst to me at the time, was 10:00am. Instead of politely asking if I could remove our bags and vacate the room so the cleaners could come in, I was faced with raging, disrespectful abuse.
