i would not waste my money staying here. while the room looked clean on first inspection. We spent a very unconfortable night being eaten alive by something in our bed. Inspecting the bed in the morning i found what i would describe as insect dung on the mattress. Told owner would only offer new sheets. we left and was told if that was our only problem no refund. $378 for 2 nights. stayed only one because of this and no refund. Rude receptionsist.

We found maz's mountain retreat, to be be very disappointing, there is no cheese platter at sunset, there is no afternoon tea upon arrival, the cottage we stayed in needed major maintenance, the lights didn't work the fire wood was damp, the drains were blocked up, the mattress on the bed was like sleeping on wood, and one of the hosts was very stingy and quite abrupt when asking for more newspaper, of which we only received one sheet to light the fire! so we went out and bought our own!!!!!!. We were told that we were gonna get a kindling kit for the fire of which we didn't, and spent the night looking for twigs to light the fire! it was a joke!!! The only food we received was a big breakfast which was good.. The web site they have is totally incorrect about everything except the breakfast, there are however two fluffy robes but no slippers.
