Lovely for a long lunch with colleagues or friends.

The menu is generous and food is presented beautifully.

Its good to go here for lunches with some varities of food available including seafood, continental etc.

I often visit Mazzaro for business lunches (my office is just around the corner). It's nice to visit on a sunny day as the restaurant overlooks Hyde Park and light will fill the restaurant.

I love the zucchini flowers for entree. There's a good variety of main meals (pasta, duck, fish, beef). Our favourite dish is definitely the honeycomb marshmellow ice-cream cake for dessert (just typing that makes me drool)!

Service is friendly and helpful. George always remembers us when we visit.

I haven't visited Mazzaro for dinner but I imagine it would be just as enjoyable as lunch!

As a group of 3, we set out to try the Mediterranean cuisine offered by Mazzaro. The restaurant is situated on busy Elizabeth Street, overlooking a not so picturesque Hyde Park when in darkness.

I stayed at Hyde Park Inn and went to Mazzaro as recommended by the hotel staff. According to the menu provided by the hotel, Mazzaro offered spaghetti Bolognaise. But in reality it was not on the restaurant menu. Our kids are allergic to seafood so we had nothing to order but plain spaghetti sprinkled with parmesan cheese. I asked the manager how much would it cost to order just plain spaghetti. He said, "well, not very expensive, may be five dollars?" I said ok. But when the bill came, we were charged $24 for 2 plain spaghetti. My husband was too embarrassed to argue so I kept my mouth shut but I think they're just trying us on if we didn't check the bill or if we didn't complain then they would just charge whatever they like for an open item even though the manager verbally confirmed "$5" each for plain spaghetti.
