McCarroll's Hyundai, Alfa & Fiat Service

Had Hyundai fixed price servicing done here twice and on both occasions they did a great basic service and cleaned the car. What left a sour taste in my mouth though was trying to extract extra money for doing a tyre rotation. Both times I said no thanks because it seemed like that's a really basic thing that should be included and both times I actually checked and they did rotate the tyres. That makes me think that the mechanics actually performed that work anyway for everyone and the guys ringing up try to obtain permission to charge the extra money. It's only like $30 but it made me change service centers for following service.

I keep taking my car here... And then each time I say 'never again' and then somehow I end up back there! Firstly the location is so inconvenient. It's about a 25 minute walk to the station and the traffic when you drive in to drop your car off (in peak hour as they always want it first thing) is inevitably bad. There is a train station shuttle service but it's annoying! Inconvenience aside, last week my air conditioning broke. I took my car to Mccarrolls and had to drop it off at 8:0am. I requested later but they insisted on first thing as the repair could require parts that required the full day to organise. I called them at 4:30pm to confirm my pick up time and they hadn't even looked at my car!! It was so frustrating as it had been a huge inconvenience to drop it off that early. Needless to say my car wasn't ready for pick up that day as previously implied by Mccarrolls. Not very impressed.
