Have attended this restaurant many times in the past and never had any issues with food or service. Attended on 28/12/2013 and was disgusted with the lack of service. I have an allergy to mushrooms and ordered 2 Calabrese pizzas without mushrooms and asked for olives instead. Pizzas came out and they had mushroom on one and the other had olives. Upon starting the pizza with olives noticed mushroom on the slice that I had started eating. I gave this to my husband and picked up another piece, found mushroom under this. I tried to get the attention of staff and they just ignored me. Finally when I got someone's attention was made to feel like the error was my fault. Absolutely disgusted with the service and will NEVER BE BACK
We had a very negative experience with the pizzeria. We tried to order take away for pick up and after being put on hold was told they were too busy to take our order. We had been very good customers going often and will not be back. I thought with the new management they would have better customer service but obviously not
Had dinner on Thursday night. The pasta was not cooked. Spoke to the management who was extremely rude and called us names. Would never eat there again

We were on our way home and looking for somewhere to stop for a light lunch. We noticed McCrae General Pizza because they offer woodfire pizza. The meal was absolutely delicious and what made it so great also was the atmosphere. Picture sitting outside on a gorgeous autumn day watching the world go by with little distraction. We are also very fussy on our pizza as it must be thin based and simple toppings. The only other place like this nearby is in Mornington so great to know there are choices available.
