McDonald Contracting

i had Mcdonald contracting out to my house to inspect to see if it was suitable to move in January and was told it will be relocated may/june. they had found a buyer apparently to move it to cranbrook after i was under the inpression it was going up north. i was contact them constanly as i wanted to know a date for the relocation and they just kept telling me its on the whiteboard as a job but no further information was given. i then get an email on friday the 8th of june to say they hadnt heard from the buyer and wont know any further information till they refund her the deposit.
such a stuff around and waste of time for me relying on these guys to only find out they could not pull it off. too good to be true. they couldnt even give me a call to let me know had to be done via email which is poor.

We used McDonald Contracting to move our house from Bridge Street Waratah to Narrabri. McDonalds Contracting removed the water meter and disconnected the Sewage illegally and the work was performed by non qualified workers.The way I found out that the disconnection had taken place was by literally tripping over the water meter which had been thrown to the back of the property. We have had to instigate proceedings through Fair Trading who emparted some other negatives in regards to McDonald Contracting. My advise would be to keep clear of this company or at least call Fair Trading prior to securing their services. I will update once we have an outcome from Fair Trading.
