Takeaways
McDonald's
Competent service but what put me off a little bit was the person who served me wasn't a fluent Englishspeaker: He was trying to say "81" (my order number) but it sounded like "51", I'm certain he was also a manager so more is to be expected from someone in that role.
McDonalds at Martin Place is one of the less sought after fast food restaurants simply because of its slightly hidden position at the underground level of one of Martin Place's station exits. It opens quite early in the morning but is always quiet despite having a relatively spacious area.
I have been there for a few times in this new year on my way to work. Although there are not many staffs in the mornings there is always someone at the counter ready to serve, and the process has always been quick and courteous. They would even courteously remind you when you would need to wait for a bit longer when you order certain things such as apple pie. They also have the new self service ordering monitor screens if you would like to take your time browsing your options.
The food quality is as expected and up to standard.
