I have lived smack bang in between the Innaloo Mc D's and the Mc D's on the corner of Charles St and Scarborough Beach Road for 6 years. The INNALOO STORE get my order wrong 4 out of 5 times. How can you confuse a cheeseburger with a fillet o fish? The burgers are ALWAYS luke warm if not cold and hard. You never recieve an apology after driving half the way home, only having to turn around and drive back to ask them to give you what you actually ordered. They do it so often. The Charles/Scarb Bch Rd Store however always get my order right and the burgers are always fresh and hot. McDonald's are not "a little bit fancy" as they claim, rather they are a little bit inconsistent. I would definitely NOT recommend the Innaloo store.
I just got of the bus, hungry for something quick and yummy. My choices aren't limited as there is various amounts of well known fast food shops around the area. I choose McDonalds, although it was the furthest to walk to. My once and only experience with Innaloo Mcdonalds was average, nothing special yet nothing was terrible. I enjoyed the food, like i would at any McDonalds restaurant. The food was made fast and the prices are really, really good! The service was alright the kind you would expect from major fast food chains. Overall the food, service and price was all average.
I got home and was quite looking forward to trying a Mighty Angus burger. How disappointing to find that they had not put the bacon on it.
Believing in giving people a second chance I went to Mcdonalds on a different day. Looking forward to trying my Grand Angus Burger I get home, this time there was no tomato or red onion. My friend had the very end piece of tomato with a stalk on it in her burger and the lettuce was far from gourmet. It was a couple of scuzzy brown pieces of shredded iceberg.
These unacceptable mistakes or lack of care factor make the Mighty Angus not so mighty and the Grand Angus no so grand, and neither of these burgers are a bit fancy if they come from Innaloo.
Have heard that the Morley ones are great maybe they could teach Innaloo how to make something simple but a littly bit fancy.
Overall I would say that this is an OK fast food restaurant. The play area is fantastic for kids, and the service is good. However, I have had one BAD experience here, I bought a Happy Meal and found a piece of glass in my burger! I informed the manager of the store and she was very understanding.
