Great location within the centre.

It does tend to get quite busy but they provide very fast service so you're not waiting to longer for your order.

Food always seems fresh as well.

Great location, usually pretty clean and quick service. Shame they have stopped doing 24/7 during the week. Students who live on campus at Macquarie University who are coming back from the city after a night out are frequent visitors. Who doesn't love a drunken feast at McDonalds. Regret only kicks in the following day. But hey, a craving is a craving.

McDonalds at Macquarie Centre is perhaps one of the busiest fast food outlets in this shopping centre's food court. Located at the very end of the food court precinct, there are always people ordering at this place and is very busy especially during lunch hours.

However, the staffs at this place must have been very well trained and they would be able to take orders in a very fast and efficient manner and being friendly too while at that. No matter what you ordered, whether it is burgers, chicken nuggets, frozen coke, or drinks (which I have done at this place), the waiting time for the food has always been very quick (it is definitely a lot quicker than most of, if not all, other McDonalds I have ever been across Sydney and beyond). The would promptly called out your order number so you would not get it mistaken.

What can I say, we arrived there around 3:30 in the afternoon, pleased to realise that they were not closing before their dinner service. Its decor is, well how do you say, McDonald-esk. They sell a range of burgers, drinks and other food products. We ordered some burgers fries and a drink. The fries were crisp with a 90% external salt coverage(100% being of a perfect amount of course) The burger buns were of a tan, soft exterior with a white slightly toasted inner side. The drinks came in a white paper cup with a waxy coating to prevent liquid seepage. All the products came with packaging with a McDonalds emblems on them. I thought this to be to help brand their products and encourage future purchasing by the customer. Not much in the form of branding gets by me.



All in all it was a pleasant twelve minutes and forty seven seconds of the day.

McDonalds at Macquarie has great fast service and long trading hours. they have a great location over looking the ice rink, so you can watch all the ice skaters whilst enjoying your food. The layout is very simple, yet effective and they have a small play area in the back.
