I've been there several times for breakfast and the service was so slow...15 minutes just for a sausage and egg McMuffin. Other times during the day and evening the service is quicker but they don't provide napkins. seriously, when I take my children to maccas they're gonna need napkins. I know we all want to preserve the environment but washing our hands and faces in your putrid stinky bathroom / toilet area is disgusting! The food and drinks are fine.
Went through the drive through to order just a cup of ice and was refused this as I hadn't bought anything. I have spent excessive amounts of money there in the past however this time they did not want to know me as they were not getting my money, which is pretty rude as 30% of the time I buy from there they stuff up the order or short change us food. Won't be buying from McDonalds any more and I encourage others to do the same
Ha! I was the one who took your order, I would like to remind you that I did explain to you that it was against our stores policies to give away ice or water through the drive through.
Boo hoo you didn't get your cup of ice. Just cause you buy there a lot doesn't mean they owe you a cup of ice
No but it's called good customer service and the general consumer won't tolerate anything other, I wonder how much higher their profit margin could be if they realised this, and I wonder how many people will not go to their store because of their sub standard service. I haven't been back to McDonalds since this incident.
Where you prepaired to pay for the cup of ice you ordered????? From my knowledge it is not on the menu there and i am fairly certain to obtain the ice would have taken cost of a cup, labour and water usage charges from Brisbane City Council....So please tell me how much would you have paid for that ice???? ATM'S charge 2 dollars maybe 3??? Would you have paid that????
Well Rodney, let me put this into a simple mathematical equation.
1 x cup (bulk ordered) = 10 cents
500ml water @ $2.37 p/kl = $0.0011
1 minute labor = $0.16 (estimate of $10.00 p/hour for worker)
total water price $0.27
My family + the 3 extended families who have not used McDonald since that day
$50.00 per month/per family = $200.00 per month
$200.00 per month backdated to July 2013 = $3800.00
So basically that McDonald's, and McDonald's in general has lost $3799.73. Now times that by the amount of disgruntled customers who receive bad service in general from the company and it quickly add up to millions. The moral of the story Rodney is word of mouth, today is still one of the most powerful marketing tools today, however in their case it has worked against them.
They don't owe you free ice or anything else dude. It's a business not a charity.
Quality food like you would expect from such a restraunt.
Somtimes they don't fill the chips all the way to the top, but other than that no complaints about the food,
Nice restraunt atmosphere and you can always see the cleaner going around to make sure it's all clean.
Friendly staff, always give a smile.
