McDonald's

Went to Strathpine McDonald''s yesterday and ordered two ice cream cones and a cup of tea. At first they lost my order (was not overly busy) and then proceeded to make other orders that came after mine-which included the same ice-creams that I had ordered. When I alerted the staff they picked up two cones to make the order and decided the cones were not good enough to use and threw them in a bin. Then they said that they had no more cones left. The girl just ignored me and went to fill another order. I asked how long I would have to wait and they said they had no more cones. They did not think about how to resolve the problem. I then asked if I could have the ice cream in a cup instead. The girl put a tiny amount of ice-cream in a sundae lid so I refused to take the ice-cream (smaller than a 50c Cone). I asked for my money back for the ice-creams and then had to ask for them to give me the cup of tea they had made at least 8-10 minutes earlier. I will never go back. I ...read more

Often missing items, service is slow..... extremely slow! food tastes like it's been sitting around for the last 2 hours most of the time!

Whilst food is fresh here, quite often there seem to be forgotten menu items or a machine out of order.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. I waited 25 minutes to order a large coke along with about another 20 customers. I watched other people leave and order food else where. Whilst I was waiting I noticed 4 staffs out the back playing around and punching each other. Meanwhile this store has 4 registers and only 2 were operating at this busy time. Will never buy food here again!

Popped in here recently to pick up a kids birthday dinner treat - Dinner Box.

I didn't think it was overly busy, approx. 6 people waiting. There were two registers open.

The staff were friendly and my order was completed correctly. I didn't feel confident though so I checked my order before I left.

But the process in between was a complete schamozzle! Very entertaining to watch though.

The staff were getting confused and orders were getting mixed up.

So my two star score is based on friendly service and my order was complete.
