Way back in 1940s Mr. Joe McLoughlin who was working as a butcher in a meat shop got a glance of an old Australian newspaper left by a customer in the shop, in which an article said about the the job opportunities at Australia.
Wasting no time, he along with his wife left for Australia where he saw butchering at a scale which Ireland couldn't even think of at that time. He was mesmerized to see the new techniques and recipes and learned all of them.Taking along those skills, he decided to go move back to his place and found his location at Ballyfermot in 1965.
In 2007, McLoughlins moved its wholesale operation to Joondalup. Having an ample space and a small goods room for sausages, burgers and pudding. Today the have EU approved cooking facility to meet the demands of the customers and to maintain their performance in the market. We as a team are one of the best among butchers at Joondalup and try to serve people with best of our quality and services.
