MCP Strata must be one of the worst strata companies around. Avoid them like the plague!
They are rude and argumentative, often hanging up on phone calls when they've had enough.
Requests for work to be completed go unanswered for weeks if not months.
When we finally did get rid of them Cristina withdrew 4 additional months of fees and put through confusing financial entries to our financial statements.
Never sign up with these people!
Unfortunately we had to deal with this strata company recently in respect to work carried out in a unit that they manage. What a nightmare from beggining to the eventual end.
It took months to be paid for a quote they accepted. They will make up any excuse to stretch out your payment
Like the previous reviews, the person I dealt with was abusive, rude, hostile, unprofessional and could not speak or correspond in English competently even though their profile states -
Full Professional Proficiency in English.
Keep away from this company, do not do work for them unless you want to fight for your money.
Should be able to give a minus rating, but even then a -30 would be too high a rating.
I cannot stress highly enough - Keep away.
Dear CEP14 - The only way that we would not pay for works carried out in an strata is if you did the work value over $4,000 in agreement with only one owner behind everyone's back and on top that work was no carried out as this owner expected. If the committee does not approve the payment, our hands are tied up, as we work under instructions. Next time send us the quote as it should be so every owner can approve the quote.
Would give zero stars if an option. Incredibly hostile, rude and unprofessional. They'll sucker you in with price matching but will raise costs without warning. Pick horrible insurance options because all they care about is their commission. They'll refuse to answer legitimate questions and attack you for asking them. Have caused us so much anxiety and stress we've lost countless nights of sleep. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Dear Palooza, please let me tell you that MCP Strata does not bother with price matching on our fees. Also. in regard to insurance we present 3 quotes for the commitee to choose, it is their decison at the end of the day we only work under instructions.
If you got any issues in paying the levies, with have payment plans, however, no one is above the law and we deal with arrears as stipulate by the law. sorry if you don't like what the strata regulations states.
