McQuade Springs

Had a very minor repair done on our caravan while in Mt Isa and we were completely over charged, cost $100 but for a ten min job should be $20#reviewtowin

Had a broken spring on our caravan had them look at it no PR skills told us between $700-$800 rip off but was stranded they are the only one advertising that makes springs so went ahead. 12 hours later it was dark van was ready to be picked up price had inflated to $1000 cash only. On investigation following morning found spring had been made out of mild steel instead of spring steel in driving 4km from workshop to van park had already flattened out totally unsafe and unroadworthy.Went back to get money back. The staff actually thinks had has done a great job. Made formal complaint to office of fair trading mayor. Keep clear

On a travelling trip across australia. Spent $660 at McQuade springs (mt Isa) on a set of springs that needed to be reset. (Which my husband basically put back together. Got 50klm down the road and had to return to get them fixed again costing a further $616 They basically told us to f***off no warranty when we questioned them why it was not fixed the first time around.

Bad customer service, shotty workmanship. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE people. Save the stress and the money!!!!
