Long wait, with my mum who is 72 year old widow who is on a age parent bridging visa whos medicare expired, she was asked culturally inappropriate questions such as if she is here to remarry or has a joint bank account with someone. Answered no to these questions. She was refused a renewal for medicare based on me not having a birth certificate with me.
